Anisah Ahmat is a writer a poet, A world traveller and meditator.. Her writing has served as an avenue as a gateway for healing.. Anisah believes a part of her purpose is to guide women to, not only recognizing the light within them, but also recognizing the power within their voice. She encourages women that it is their birth right to speak up and against anything that does not serve their higher selves. She currently works as the Head of Community for the Expectful app; composing meditations to support women through fertility, pregnancy and motherhood. She resides in Denver with her husband and their baby girl.
In this conversation we speak about the fear that can arise when you first find out your pregnant, and we talk about how important it is to cultivate nourishing conscious partnerships and what it looks like too say yest to what your body needs during pregnancy.
