Episode 17. Highlights
“International college was one of the most interesting experiences of my life really. And also one of my hardest, I didn’t have even the consciousness of the fact that I was not thriving, and I was actually drowning.”
“I had a very fit pregnancy actually, right up until the day I delivered I was running I was definitely in the gym five to six times a week, getting my training on.”
“I think that the hardest for me was the sleep. Oh, my gosh, getting accustomed to, you know, just having to operate on like, literally zero sleep. You know, just really trying to find the patience and the love and the care even despite the fact that like, internally, you’re melting down inside.”
“That gut feeling, that inner voice that that tells you enough is enough. No more pity parties, no more meltdowns, like, we got to do something about this.”
“I have just always prioritised the time for myself to be able to give to myself to Fill my cup up, so that I can continue to fill in others.”
